Over half of Icelandic people either believe or won’t deny the existence of elves and other mythical creatures that roam their landscape. With over thirty documents that form this in-depth research on Icelandic folklore and mythologies including; testimonies from the National Museum of Iceland, photographs from the Reykjavik Photography Museum, recorded conversations with clairvoyants and Marianne’s own photographs of places with an assumed elf population.

This growing archive will be on show at the Reykjavik Photography Museum from June to August.
